My first time going and it was AMAZING! I snapped a picture of the appetizers but completely forgot to take one of the actual food, just know it was a solid 10 out of 10. Everything was delicious, and the experience exceeded my expectations. I absolutely recommend!

Everything was amazing! Atmosphere was awesome and greens and gumbo were some of the best I’ve ever had. Cheers to UBK for souther hospitality and good vibes. Our server Taylor made our entire weekend visiting TTown.

We got the fried green tomatoes for our appetizer and I was very impressed. These were not the over-breaded fried green tomatoes that you typically get in a restaurant. The breading was light and, in my opinion, perfect. The tomatoes were fried beautifully. I got the pasta, and I really just expected a standard steakhouse pasta dish. This dish was so surprising! The sauce was fantastic! The pasta was perfectly cooked. I enjoyed every bite and ate far more of it than I should have.

my boyfriend & i’s favorite date spot! our server last night, claire, was the best! even though it was busy, she was still very sweet, funny and attentive. not once were we looking around waiting for her. the food is always amazing and prices are very fair!

This place is absolutely a local favorite. Thankfully, we had reservations for 7:30pm on Saturday evening [1/18/26]. Others waited up to an hour to be seated. The food is PHENOMENAL...everything (and the bread pudding alone is award-winning)!!! The aesthetics are appealing, with exposed brick, wooden fixtures, and nice wording in the walls. The customer service was great; didn't lack, despite the busyness. The restaurant is large, with multiple seating areas, a bar, etc.,, but they may need to look in to expanding, due to their popularity and the lack of available parking spaces around the building for patrons to park. We walked about 3 blocks after settling on parking in parking deck to avoid circling the block a fourth time...LOL! At any rate, I do recommend anyone in the area to give them a try.

Hands down one of our fave restaurants in Tuscaloosa. Great for date night with the hubby (good margs, frosé) but we’ve also taken the kiddo there, grandparents, other visitors, and always love it! Hubby cooks a lot (and a lot of Southern food) and absolutely loved theirs (which is sayin somethin lol). We’re always surprised when any local friend of ours hasn’t been before!

AMAZING, EXCELLENT, and PERFECTION are the only words that I can use to describe the food, experience, and atmosphere. 10 out of 10- I definitely recommend!

Good bargain for what you get! That should be 5-start. Sat at the bar since the wait was more than an hour. Good selection of drinks and wine. Shrimp dip and fried green tomatoes a good start. Grouper sandwich was moist and tasty; broccoli was a little over cooked but still deliciously seasoned. Cauliflower tacos a nice portion as was the porkchop and pancake selection served with mac and cheese. Green beans a nice addition. Again, all priced economically. Drinks.... standard pricing for an active college town $10-$14. Was loud but it was packed. Service was good and friendly but he was running. Good Visit.
